As the Operations Analyst working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will support Data Analytics and Information Management tasks. You should have knowledge of and access to program datasets and broader information systems and databases such as NSWC Corona Ship Maintenance Data Improvement Initiative (SMDII), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or performance data for review by managers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and analyze industry trends with business strategy implications.
  • Analyze business intelligence and data to support recommendations for action and process updates.
  • Study work problems and procedures, including organizational change, communication, information flow, production methods, and cost analysis.
  • Compile reports, charts, graphs, and online content to describe and interpret analysis findings.
  • Compile statistics from program datasets and Navy information systems; display them appropriately for their intended use.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
