EMR isseeking a highly organized and detail-orientedOperations Accountantto take full ownership of the day-to-day accounting operations for our fabrication shop. This is ahands-on rolethat blendsaccounting, administrative, and financial responsibilities, playing a critical part in the financial accuracy and operational success of the Fab Shop.This role will be worked 100% onsite in Camden, NJ. There is no opportunity to go remote or hybrid.

This position will be responsible forall accounting functionsrelated to the Fab Shop— from transactional processing (AP/AR) and cost tracking to month-end close activities. You will work closely with thePurchasing Department, operations, and finance to ensure accurate job costing, inventory tracking, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain job folders, ensuring alignment between shop operations and financial records.

  • Overseeend-to-end accountingfor the Fab Shop, including AP, AR, inventory, and WIP tracking.

  • Monitor and trackjob-level costs: labor, materials, internal transfers, and third-party vendors.

  • Process vendor invoices, match with POs/receiving records, and properly code to jobs or departments.

  • Collaborate withProcurementand site supervisors to resolve discrepancies and ensure complete documentation.

  • Reconcile fabrication-relatedbalance sheet accounts, including accruals and inventory.

  • Generate customer invoices upon job completion and manage application of payments and aging balances.

  • Prepare and post month-endjournal entries, accruals, and allocations.

  • Maintain logs of open POs, invoice approvals, and payment statuses.
