Operating Room Technician - talent4health : Job Details

Duration: 13 weeks

Weekly Gross: $1990

Description:

• Follows Infection Control policies and procedures and demonstrates expertise in surgical scrub technique.
• Adheres to principles of sterile technique preoperatively and intra-operatively.
• Assists the surgeon when needed gowning, gloving, draping, and passing of instruments and other related items during the procedure.
• Anticipates the surgeon's need for instruments, sutures, and equipment.
• Maintains an organized operative field at all times by keeping the instruments clean and
• in their proper place. Client Delivery Communications.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required: Maternity experience/General ortho/general surgery/OBGYN with more than 3+ years Previous Operating Room experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist- NBSTSA or National Health career Association.
• BLS-AHA

Additional:

• Work Hours: Shift: 06:30AM-05:00 PM-Monday-Thursday- with on-call coverage required- nights, holidays, weekends
