The Operating Room Technician I, will aid the Operating Room team members prior, during, and after surgical procedures. The main functions of this position will include transporting patients/specimens; obtaining supplies/laboratory products; and maintaining a clean environment within the department. Education, License & Cert: High School Education or GED required. Certified in Basic CPR within 6 months of hire Experience: No experience required. Essential Functions: 1. Transporting patients and lab products/specimens to and from the Operating Room (OR). 2. Protects patient privacy and modesty; is authorized to access secured storage areas in the performance of essential job functions and duties. 3. OR equipment/supplies transportation; transports specimens, cafeteria supplies, blood, and other items as assigned 4.
