Operating Room RN Service Line Coordinator – OR exp req'd Gynecology/Urology experience strongly preferred

Full time – 10 hour/day shift

We currently have a unique leadership role for an RN to be our Service Line Coordinator to organize, oversee, and implement services within our Operating Room. Gynecology/Urology experience is strongly preferred. Primarily, you will supervise your clinical specialty group and provide clinical, educational, and technical expertise and support.

In addition, you will assign, oversee, and hold staff accountable for the performance of daily duties, act as the internal expert in the clinical service line, and function as a resource person for less experienced staff and unit preceptors. You must maintain clinical skills and will be the first line of contact with the physicians to maximize the quality of patient care. You will also maintain the working status of specialty instruments and equipment, as well as fostering vendor relations.

We require:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Professional Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience.
• Gynecology/Urology experience strongly preferred.
• Current and valid NYS registration authorizing practice as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• BLS Certification.
• CNOR Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and English verbal/written skills.
• Clinical experience/skills relevant to Operating Room; Gynecology/Urology experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to think critically, develop relationships, and problem-solve.
• Proven thorough knowledge of Operational efficiencies.
• Computer proficiency.
• Completion of annual mandatory in-service education (Hospital/Nursing).
