Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Open Rank MHA Program Director in Richland County, SC. The Program Director will lead the Master of Health Administration program, overseeing curriculum development, student advisement, faculty coordination, and program evaluation. The role also involves teaching, research, and community service aligned with the university's mission. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to ensure the program's continuous improvement and compliance with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, DHA, DrPH, or JD) in health policy, health services research, health care management, business, health economics, public policy, law, or a closely related field by the employment start date.
• Applicants at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and program leadership, have at least 1 year of post-doctoral teaching experience, and at least 2 years of relevant work experience (e.g., in an academic or health care practice setting) by the employment start date.
• Applicants at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor must have an established record of impactful teaching and/or demonstrated excellence in program leadership, at least 5 years of post-doctoral teaching experience, and relevant work experience (e.g., in an academic or health care practice setting) commensurate with rank and academic policy by the employment start date.
