We are seeking a dynamic and organized Wellness Engagement Coordinator to join our team onsite at a client's corporate office in Lafayette, LA. In this role, you will collaborate with the client's HR, benefits, and wellness teams to implement and enhance wellness initiatives that integrate seamlessly with comprehensive benefit and wellness program, driving employee participation and measurable health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary onsite wellness liaison, building strong relationships with employees and leadership to promote benefits and wellness programs while encouraging engagement in health initiatives.
- Coordinate and execute wellness activities, such as biometric screenings, health challenges, educational workshops, and fitness events, ensuring seamless logistics (scheduling, room setup, vendor coordination, etc.).
- Promote wellness programs through multi-channel communications, including email campaigns, digital platforms, intranet posts, and physical signage, tailored to the client's workforce.
- Support employees in navigating digital health tools, such as telehealth services, wellness apps, and personalized health assessments, to maximize program utilization.
- Collect and analyze participation data, employee feedback, and program outcomes to support continuous improvement and reporting to both the client and Health Designs.
- Maintain and update wellness resources, including digital content on benefit and wellness platform and physical materials in common areas, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
- Collaborate with wellness team to align initiatives with health plan benefits, such as preventive care incentives and chronic condition management programs.
- Represent client professionally, championing a culture of well-being and inclusiveness across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health Promotion/Public Health or 7-10 years of equivalent experience. NBC-HWC is a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in workplace wellness, health promotion, or program coordination, preferably within a corporate environment.
- WELCOA and/or Wellness Alliance for program design certifications are desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse employee populations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with digital health platforms or wellness portals.
- Familiarity with health plan integration, employee benefits, or HR processes is a plus.
- Comfort with occasional early morning or evening hours to accommodate wellness events.
