An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher to provide individualized health instruction to a high school student in a homebound setting. This role is ideal for those who are dual certified in Health Education and Special Education, and are passionate about fostering student growth and well-being while adapting to unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one health lessons tailored to the specific learning requirements of the student.
• Develop and implement engaging instructional strategies to promote understanding of health concepts.
• Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans as necessary to meet educational goals.
• Collaborate with parents, healthcare providers, and school staff to create a comprehensive support plan.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and compliance with educational standards.
• Provide ongoing encouragement and support to facilitate a positive learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Current dual certification in Health Education and Special Education for high school grades.
• Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a homebound context.
