Job Quick Facts • Specialty: Oncology NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Stockton, CA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p • Patient Volume: - 1-2 consults/day - 2-3 follow ups/day - 8-10 consults/week • Support Staff: 3 APPs, 6 Physicians, 5 RNs, 3 Front Office Staff, 6 Radiation Therapists • Case Mix: All Cancer types in need of radiation therapy • Duties: - Review medical records and prepare a consultation note prior to patients' visit to the Cancer Center - Coordinate follow up care and services including imaging, medications, further testing - Support patients' medical needs during treatment in coordination with the physician and staff nursing. - Manage follow up visits post treatment and coordinate care • EMR: Aria and Cerner • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active CA License • BC • DEA • Clean Record • Radiation Tx Experience • Oncology Experience • COVID Vaccination
