Onboarding Coordinator – Home Care Bronx, NY and Rockland County, NY (2 openings) 50 - 60k

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

A growing licensed home care agency is seeking two dedicated Onboarding Coordinators to manage the complete onboarding cycle for home health aides. These positions are critical in supporting field staff activation, ensuring all documentation, training, and compliance requirements are completed with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidates will have prior home care HR experience and be highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of new hires.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in onboarding home health aides (HHAs/PCAs)

  • Familiar with I-9 verification, health requirements, and DOH compliance

  • Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee data

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-to-end onboarding of new home health aides, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete

  • Review and process I-9s, physicals, immunization records, references, and background checks

  • Coordinate orientation sessions, including training schedules and documentation

  • Track and follow up on missing credentials and expiring documentation

  • Maintain internal systems and databases with updated employee records

  • Communicate with field staff regarding status, missing items, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with compliance and scheduling teams to support operational needs

  • Assist walk-in applicants and ensure a welcoming onboarding experience

Qualifications and Must-Haves:

  • HR experience in a homecare agency

  • Proven knowledge of onboarding and credentialing processes for aides

  • Familiarity with I-9 forms, DOH standards, and onboarding audits

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency with HR software and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Ability to work full time onsite in either Bronx or Rockland County
