This role will be responsible for designing and producing management information reports, analyzing business performance, and helping the FP&A Manager build yearly budgets that align with the team's strategies and goals.***This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days per week in our NYC office. There is no option to be fully remote.***Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for designing, analyzing and presenting financial indicators for the business leaders, FP&A managers, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders
  • Production of ad hoc financial models and analytics to support key findings and strategic goals
  • Rigorously analyze business metrics to uncover meaningful insights that impact business decision making
  • Synthesize results to measure performance against annual goals and support business forecasting
  • Leverage and learn modern tools like Tableau to build data models and automate analytics
  • Actively identify ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, quantify their impact, and define their benefits
  • Mitigate risks by ensuring data quality and accuracy of financial dashboards are tightly managed
Experience Required:
  • BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a consulting, financial, or highly analytical role
Technical Skills:
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of data in excel using advanced formulas. Ability to learn Macros is a plus.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills to help summarize and convey key findings for stakeholders
  • Previous experience using Tableau (or other data visualization tool) or a strong desire to learn and develop these skills
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Business System suite of applications including Hyperion Planning and SmartView is a plus
  • Experience with SQL or similar language is a plus
Skills and Attributes:
  • Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, and well organized
  • Experience with P&L analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Strong initiative/seek and accept new challenges, have a high level of intellectual curiosity as it relates to new projects, and finding solutions to problems

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

The applicable base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
