The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for a one-year fellowship defending Oklahoma's interests in federal and state courts in its Solicitor General Unit.

Job Summary

The Solicitor General Unit supervises appellate litigation on behalf of the Office of the Attorney General and handles significant appeals before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Fellows will research and draft briefs, and assist in oral argument preparation.

Qualifications

Applicants must be licensed and admitted to practice law in at least one state, with outstanding research and writing skills, and an interest in federal constitutional law and Oklahoma constitutional law. Judicial clerkship experience, especially at the federal appellate level, is strongly preferred. All applicants must pass a background check.
