We are seeking dental assistants who are passionate about working with children to be a part of our School Based Dental Program in the Baltimore City School District. Our program provides preventative and comprehensive dental care to children ages 5 to 18, in a safe and familiar environment. Services include oral health education, routine exams and cleanings, dental fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of treatment room.
  • Prepare patient, instruments, and materials.
  • Sterilization of all equipment.
  • Take/process x-Rays using digital Radiography equipment.
  • Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
  • Any other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Certified or Registered Dental Assistant with x-Ray Certification
  • Two (2) years of experience working chair side preferred
  • Able to work with portable/mobile equipment
  • Familiarity with computers and dental software
  • Valid driver's license, reliable/own transportation, and willingness to travel locally
  • Able to work well with children
  • Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
  • Prior Pediatric Dentistry experience preferred
