This position will ensure all engineering activities are properly managed by staff to guarantee product quality based on job requirements. It will also provide assistance to other functions to identify, agree on, and implement effective solutions for installation and construction activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize design reviews to define optimal installation methodology solutions.
  • Participate in various meetings (Project Progress, Engineering Coordination, HSE, Risk Assessment).
  • Conduct technical review meetings (Procurement, Engineering, Fabrication, Operation, Interface).
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Design required lift rigging.
  • Prepare technical memos and queries to support contractual deviations.
  • Develop input for installation activity presentations.
  • Specify and track equipment, installation aids, materials, and documentation.
  • Ensure equipment, aids, and materials are properly transmitted and received via a turn-around file (Material List).
  • Provide technical support for Spread & Equipment Engineering (drawings, SOPs, layouts, etc.).
  • Revise installation engineering drawings based on supplier, manufacturer, and subcontractor documentation.
  • Issue, update, and follow up on technical bid evaluations within installation engineering competencies.
    • Minimum Requirements:
    • At least 8 years of relevant experience in the offshore oil and gas or offshore wind industry.
    • Willingness to spend short periods (1-4 weeks) offshore on installation vessels supporting offshore operations.
