Manages the transportation planning activities of an organization, division or agency. Serves as a group leader to professionals providing professional support. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Under limited supervision in the Statewide Systems Planning Unit, it serves as the Chief of a major organizational branch engaged in the development and maintenance of a statewide transportation plan. Supervises various planners and technicians engaged in the analysis of planning data to determine transportation needs, the establishment of a database, the development of data flow systems and the development of projects to meet the identified transportation needs of the state. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The selected candidate must meet the advertised minimum qualifications to include State Entry Qualifications as well as Agency Specific Qualifications.
