Responsibilities & Duties

Purpose of Position An Office Manager is to manage all aspects of the daily activities and office operation. An Office Manager is accountable for financial performance of the Office, customer satisfaction, office policies and procedures. This position also ensures adherence to all bank policies, objectives, and practices.

A Loan Officer is responsible for maintaining and/or generating a loan portfolio that includes commercial, commercial real estate, consumer and consumer real estate loans.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of daily operations to ensure optimal efficiency, adherence to bank policies and regulatory compliance.

• Lead, coach, and develop staff through training, professional development initiatives, and morning huddles.

• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.

• Monitor and analyze branch performance to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability.

• Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports in accordance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and directives from Senior Leadership.

• Represent the bank at community events and networking activities to enhance branch visibility and generate new business leads.

• Review holds and stop payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Oversee teller operations, vault management, cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with the area mentor and retail team to coordinate scheduling.

• Perform all other duties as deemed necessary.

• Manage collections and exceptions.

• Maintain and/or generate a loan portfolio with a mixture of loans that represent the local market.

Perform full range of duties pertaining to Consumer, Commercial and Real Estate lending functions, including soliciting, originating, receiving and screening applications, processing, underwriting, and approval within established lending authority.

• Preparing loan presentation documents to loan committee and coordinating closings.

• Maintain credit quality in loan portfolio via credit files and borrowers, etc.

• Manage past due loan accounts for the branch.

• Timely prepare renewal documents primarily for commercial and commercial real estate maturing loans.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, (preferably accounting or finance) or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Experience & Skill Requirements

• Working knowledge of current banking regulations and applicable laws.

• Working knowledge and understanding of various types of loans and application processes.

• Credit and/or liability experience or training, preferred.

• Familiarity with local financial marketplace… Competitors, demographics, geography, industries.

• Communication skills and ability to communicate tactfully.
