Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee
administrative operations, reporting directly to the Owner. The ideal
candidate will be highly organized and proactive, work well under pressure, and excel in
customer service. You will play a vital role in ensuring day-to-day operations run
smoothly and efficiently, while supporting our team in delivering top-notch services to
clients. Salary based on experience, with exceptional value rewarded.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day administrative functions
• Assist with basic bookkeeping/data entry tasks including but not limited to
invoicing, collections, payroll, and data entry with QuickBooks Online.
• Maintain and optimize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system,
ensuring accurate data entry and tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments and addressing
client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and
productive work environment.
• Proactively implement and maintain office policies and procedures and systems to
enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate communication between management and staff, ensuring everyone is
informed and aligned with company goals.
• Perform additional administrative one-off requests for the company/Owner.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting/Finance or
related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in office management, preferably in the
landscape or related industry.
• Proficient with CRM software, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to provide superior customer service and resolve conflicts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hiring and training staff is a plus.
