Position Summary: The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and financial activities of the division. This role involves developing and implementing systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, managing administrative functions to ensure the office runs smoothly, and supervising staff in alignment with company policies and standards. The Office Manager plays a critical role in maintaining an organized, productive, and compliant office environment. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage/supervise the administrative activities of the office.
  • Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees, interviewing candidates, and managing employee records
  • Ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain a professional image.
  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of customer billing.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in regard to billing
  • Plan/develop systems and procedures to improve the operational quality and efficiency within the division.
  • Performs data entry functions for customer shipping databases
  • Performs inventory investigations in tandem with the warehouse supervisors and CSR teams
  • Direct staff in the development, analysis and preparation of reports.
  • Establish associate goals and assist in conducting annual reviews.
  • Communicate with other divisional supervisor, as well as Senior Management.
  • Assist staff in resolving complex or out of policy operational problems.
  • On going continuation of customer communication and relationship
  • Ensure BOLs are signed and delivered
  • Respond to customer needs in a timely manner
  • Work with warehouse managers/supervisors in serving our local in-house customer base.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Above average communication skills - orally and in written format
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Above average experience in Microsoft Suite
  • Above average experience within WMS systems. Blue Yonder experience is a plus
  • Organization skills
  • Initiative and leadership traits.

  • Ability to multitask and handle crisis situations in a calm and effective manner.
  • Majority of the time spent at work will be in an office setting, sitting at a desk, and on the warehouse floor on occasion
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Minor lifting of product.
  • Occasional climbing, crouching, kneeling.
