Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.
NOTE: Where education is lacking, clerical experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills;
Strong communication and customer service skills to interact in writing and via phone with all levels of users throughout the district, as well as vendors and contractors;
Intermediate competency or high in creating and editing Microsoft Office and Google Documents, particularly Excel/Sheets and Calendar applications and managing and organizing digital documentation;
Ability to learn and train employees on basic systems such as WinCap EES and WinCap and attendance.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Supporting with scheduling of short-term suspension tutoring;
Supports other suspension process-related needs;
Supporting Re-Engagement Center (REC) with students during suspension including taking REC attendance, making phone calls home, supporting setting up meetings for intake into the program, reentry meeting coordination;
Making sure Pupil Action forms (PAF) for the enrollment codes are correct;
Help support communication between REC and homeschool on grade input into Infinite Campus;
Calling families and students to discuss the program, scheduling, intake meetings, location, orientation meetings, transportation, etc.;
Set up REC meetings with various stakeholders in the district, including coordination with Center For Youth;
Coordination, communication and documentation with the PPS department regarding manifestation processes;
Support with setting up alternative placement and tutoring tasks such as transportation and work assignments;
Coordination with outside agencies, such as BOCES 2 and Fullmind;
Registration support;
Completion of scanning and copy jobs;
Other duties as assigned.
