Rivkin Radler LLP seeks an Office Assistant/Records Clerk working full-time in our Albany, NY office. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scanning, copying and faxing documents, and distributing faxes that the office receives
- Utilize the Filetrail records management system.
- Transfer files to warehouse facility.
- Maintain warehousing records in Filetrail.
- Maintain organization of files in records room and cabinets.
- Run errands for firm such as Department of State (DOS), courts, picking/dropping off legal documents from local clients, and bank.
- Assist Office Manager and legal assistants with day-to-day tasks as needed.
- Create, maintain and manage legal case files.
- Provide backup to receptionist daily such as sorting mail, FedEx, handling calls on a multi-line phone system, and conference room set up and clean up.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Paralegal certificate or prior law firm experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, accurate, able to multi-task and have a cooperative work ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet client deadlines is essential.
- Ability to work independently while providing support to a team.
- Confidentiality and prioritize workload.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Congenial fast-paced environment, competitive salary and benefits. EOE. The annualized salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
