Job Description :
To perform clerical duties for a department. Responsible for the performance of clerical, typing and data entry duties. Description of Duties - Performs clerical duties requiring some discretion and/or independent judgment. - Maintains office supply inventory. - Performs data entry, deletion and updates - Engages in various records keeping, posting, filing and sorting of departmental records. - Prepares departmental reports. - Determines work priority. - Opens mail, sorts and routes correspondence or forms. - Issues equipment, records, receipts or supplies. - Assists with and collects data and prepares material for periodic reports, surveys or publications. - Replaces senior clerical personnel on vacation or temporary leave. - Acts a receptionist answering routine questions and referring more complex inquiries to appropriate administrators. - May perform other duties as assigned.
