Overview Maimonides currently has an opportunity for an Office Assistant to join its Orthopedics and Rehabilitation department. Responsibilities Weekends Rotate Monday-Friday Times Can Rotate 8:00AM-4:00PM 9:00AM-5:00PM 10:00AM-6:00PM 11:00AM-7:00PM 35 Hours Per WeekQualifications

• Minimum High school graduation or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of secretarial/billing experience in a medical office required. Typing: 40 wpm (tested) Computer literacy (MS Word)
• Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with third party billing policies and procedures, including No-Fault and Workers Compensation. Familiarity with CPT 4, ICD 10.
• Good interpersonal and English verbal/written communication skills.
• Bilingual Required English with one of the following Spanish/Russian/Cantonese/Mandarin Arabic
