WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:To provide support for the Anchorage Judicial Services Unit of the Department of Public Safety Alaska State Troopers, by processing warrants and writs received from the Alaska Court System, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Corrections Probation/Parole, Child Support Services Division, Attorney General's Office, District Attorney Office, as well as individuals in the community.

The Anchorage Judicial Services Unit is located in the basement of the Nesbett Courthouse in downtown Anchorage, with free parking in a secure parking garage. The daily work environment consists of a friendly team of like-minded civilian and commissioned staff dedicated to the mission of the Alaska State Troopers.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:The Anchorage Judicial Services Unit is looking for an individual who is a self-starter and works well individually, as well as a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas of knowledge, skill, and abilities:
Intermediate Knowledge of computer-based workstations including the Microsoft Office suite of products including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Possesses a positive attitude and has experience establishing productive working relationships with team members
Applicants with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work in an environment with numerous interruptions and shifting priorities
Applicants with the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
Applicants with exceptional critical thinking skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills that clearly and concisely communicate the message to be conveyed to a broad spectrum of audiences.
Ability to organize, set priorities, plan, and direct workflow and procedures for assigning work for Court Services Officers.
