Our client, a major insurance provider, is actively looking for an Office Assistant to join their team in Hartford, CT! This is a fully on-site position, so only local applicants will be considered.
*** This begins as a 6 month contract with an opportunity to extend or convert at any time ***
Responsibilities:
- Processing W-9 forms in our tax database – emphasis on attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency. (Majority of work)
- Sorting and scanning both paper mail and digital forms received in shared email inboxes.
- Logging voicemails into excel template.
- Assisting on assorted reports – mostly Microsoft Excel based.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Possesses strong knowledge of more than one type of software (i.e., desktop publishing, presentation graphics, spreadsheet, word processing, etc.).
- May possess strong project management, communication and organization skills
