Job role: Part-Time Office Assistant

We're looking for a versatile Office Assistant to support our growing team with administrative, accounting, and light IT tasks. What You'll Do
Administrative Support
- Oversee daily office operations and provide general support to staff
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper)
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes
- Respond to general phone and email inquiries
- Assist with document formatting, proofreading, and preparation
Accounting Support
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Assist with invoice generation, expense tracking, and monthly reconciliations
- Help manage accounts payable/receivable records
- Coordinate with external accountants on reporting and tax preparation
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes
IT & Tech Support
- Provide basic tech support (email setup, printer issues, etc.)
- Assist with software updates and installations
- Help maintain the company website or CMS (e.g., WordPress)
- Track IT inventory (hardware/software)
- Liaise with external IT providers when needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (Associate degree or higher preferred)
- Experience in office administration or accounting support
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Familiar with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
- Comfortable with basic IT troubleshooting and support
