Ocean/Air Import & Export Agent Philadelphia, PA Location: Philadelphia, PA (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $55,000 $75,000 (based on experience) About the Role Join a fast-paced, global logistics firm based in the heart of Philadelphia. As an Ocean/Air Import & Export Agent, you ll manage full-cycle international and domestic shipments while collaborating closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented logistics professional eager to grow in a thriving market. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean and air import/export shipments end-to-end
• Handle booking arrangements with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors
• Ensure timely and compliant preparation of shipping and customs documentation
• Monitor inbound/outbound freight status; provide real-time shipment updates
• Liaise with customs brokers to ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with warehouse and delivery teams for last-mile execution
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and schedules in TMS/WMS Qualifications
  • 2 5 years of experience in ocean and/or air import/export operations
  • Familiarity with AES, ISF, AMS, HTS, and Incoterms
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, FMC, and IATA/DG rules
  • Strong skills in communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CargoWise or similar logistics platform preferred Why Philly?
