Occupational Therapist - Weekend - Upstate University Hospital : Job Details

Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist - Weekend is responsible for evaluating patients, formulating specific treatment goals, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other health care providers and families. Prepare and maintain patient care documentationin a timely manner. Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences. Participate in educational programs for staff, students, volunteers, and other professional health care personnel. Participate in training for new staff. Serve as a clinical instructor for students. Facilitate new program development. Minimum Qualifications: NYS Licensed & Registered Occupational Therapist, degree required for licensure, and two years of experience required. Candidates who possess degree required for licensure, NYS OT license/registration or eligible (but must receive license in 1 year) and less than 2 years experience will be considered for appointment to an entry-level (SL2) position at commensurate salary. CPR-BLS certification required at time of appointment. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience preferred Work Days: Must be available to work at least one weekend (Saturday & Sunday) a month.
