Occupational Therapist (School Based) - Crescent City Recruitment Group : Job Details

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapists to join our team in Green Cove Springs. This role focuses on providing school-based therapy services to enhance students' ability to perform daily activities and succeed in an educational environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and daily living activities.
• Implement therapy sessions that include exercises for stretching, strengthening, and enhancing flexibility to restore joint motion and muscle strength.
• Assist students with developmental delays in performing daily tasks independently, such as dressing, toileting, and feeding themselves.
• Address sensory processing and attention issues to enhance focus and social interactions in the classroom.
• Support students with behavioral disorders in developing effective anger-management strategies and coping mechanisms.
• Assess and recommend specialized equipment, such as wheelchairs or communication aids, to support students' needs.

• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's or Clinical Doctorate).
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to change.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficient in documentation and report writing.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
