The OT will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams across a variety of healthcare settings. Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities related to physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments.
  • Develop and execute customized treatment plans focused on increasing independence and quality of life.
  • Implement interventions such as therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, and self-care skill development.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies for continued improvement and safe home environments.
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and reassess treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed to meet patient goals.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the applicable state.
  • Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred in acute care, rehab, or outpatient settings.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and functional training techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills.
