We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for full-time position for 2025-2026 school year at Federal Ways Public School District.Job Details: Location: Federal Ways, WA Employment Type: Full-time Pay Rate:$52/hour Job Description: Occupational TherapistSummary: Provide occupational therapy services to students (preschool-12th grade) with disabilities to support their access to education and independence within the least restrictive environment. This is an itinerant role requiring travel to multiple school sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate student skills, classroom environments, and barriers impacting educational participation using standardized assessments and clinical observations.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings.
• Develop and implement therapy intervention plans using direct service, consultation, and collaboration models.
• Modify environments and provide assistive technology supports as needed.
• Train and consult with teachers, paraeducators, and families to embed strategies in daily routines.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy, National Board Certification (NBCOT), and valid Washington State OT license.
• Preferred: Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or ability to obtain within one year).
• Ability to work independently, manage itinerant schedule, and lift/move up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 57 lbs with assistance).
