OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPYFull-Time, Day Shift Location: Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens, NYABOUT US The Department of Rehabilitation at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center provides comprehensive and personalized occupational therapy and physical therapy services to individuals recovering from neuromuscular or musculoskeletal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. We offer both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and therapies to enhance patient recovery. Due to our recent expansion, we are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an immediate full-time day shift opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and evaluate patients with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and neurological injuries to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to occupational therapy practices.
