Responsibilities Heritage Home Health Occupational Therapists (OTs) work with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals in the patient's place of residence. In addition to performing visits and completing coordination of care, the OT is the point of contact for all disciplines involved with providing care to the patients. The OT follows agency, state, and federal policies and procedures. The OT will consult with the patient's primary care physician, and attend meetings as required.
