In this role, you'll plan and lead therapy sessions for patients recovering from physical or cognitive impairments-whether in the hospital or through home health. You'll use therapeutic techniques to enhance daily function, reduce pain, and promote long-term health. You'll also supervise support staff, contribute to equipment planning, and ensure compliance with standards while helping individuals return to meaningful daily activities. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver personalized occupational therapy programs Support skill restoration and adaptation for patients with physical or mental impairments Supervise Certified OT Assistants, Rehab Aides, and support staff Recommend necessary equipment and staffing needs Promote health, independence, and function through therapeutic intervention Collaborative Teamwork This role involves close collaboration with rehab, nursing, and care teams to develop personalized therapy plans that align with each patient's goals, while fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
