Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Occupational Medicine NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Fayette, OH • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Oct 14, 2024 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 6a-3p - 90 days with the possibility of extension • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume: 340 employees • Duties/Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to factory employees, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting physical exams, and ensuring employees' overall well-being. - Urgent Care: Respond promptly to and administer care for urgent on-site medical cases, accidents, and injuries. - Interdisciplinary Care: Coordinate with off-site healthcare providers and specialists for employee referrals and continuity of care. - Prescribing Medications: Prescribe appropriate medications following established guidelines and monitor medication management, educating patients on proper usage. - Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatments, and prescribed medications in accordance with legal and ethical standards. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, protocols, and industry standards, including occupational health and safety guidelines. - Clinic Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks related to patient care. - Health Promotion: Conduct health education sessions and wellness programs to improve the overall health and well-being of employees. - Employee Relationship Building: Work to establish relationships with factory employees, promoting trust and a compassionate healthcare environment. • Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active OH License • BC • DEA • Min 1-2 years of experience • BLS, CPR (preferred)
