Observation, Physician Assistant (NIGHTS)

The Observation Physician Assistant at JFKUMC is responsible for providing competent and comprehensive care to patients and their families throughout the patient's life span. Patient care responsibilities have a specific focus on treatment of acute and chronic care issues including prenatal care, health education and maintenance, disease prevention, and continuity of care. The APP actively participates in the multi-disciplinary approach to health care and views the individual and family as an integral part of that team. The APP supports and implements the philosophy, goals and standards of JFK Medical Center. Active member in a patient centered-team approach in the care of the patient and families. Works collaboratively with all team members in achieving shared goals with a consistent focus on quality care. Participates in quality improvement activities including data analysis, implementing recommendations, evaluating changes and outcomes. This is a NIGHT, 36 hr/week position.

COMPENSATION:Starting Base Salary: $105,655.68 Annually
