Service CoordinatorClayton Homes is the nation's leading housing provider, offering a vertically integrated approach to building, selling, and insuring affordable homes. The Service Coordinator is a vital member of the overall company. The Service Coordinator reports to the Home Center General Manager. The purpose of this position is to assist our retail team in providing timely completion of construction while providing world class service. To accomplish this, the Service Coordinator is primarily responsible for all stages of construction out in the field, including but not limited to construction management, permitting, walk-throughs and coordinating service.Responsibilities:Completes all bill-backs with factories and related paperworkProcesses contractor billsResponsible for customer filesAssist in obtaining permitsFollowing up with contractors as well as customers for service calls and collecting all necessary paperworkManaging the Home Centers Net Promoter Score (NPS - Customer Service)Schedule set-up and delivery and other service-related items with contractors and customersFollow-up with customers utilizing various contact methods, including home visits.Merchandising the retail location and homes, including but not limited to moving furniture, décor and cleaning homesAssist in preparation for auditsActively partner with manager on all exceptions and questionsProtect company assetsParticipate in sales meetings and other company eventsParticipate as needed during marketing promotions and eventsContribute to a positive team environmentCooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as requiredPerform other duties as assigned or delegated by managerCompensation:As a Service Coordinator with Clayton Homes, you will be receiving an hourly wage.Position RequirementsStrong verbal communication skillsKnowledge of ConstructionStrong customer relations skillsAbility to excel and contribute to a team environmentReliable and dependable attributesStrong organizational and time management skillsIntermediate computer skillsAbility to learn and operate company softwareExcellent phone skillsAbility to learn a general understanding of the retail environmentProfessional demeanor and appearanceAbility to lift and move furniture, promotional items, etc.Ability to pass criminal background check as well as post-offer drug screenTwo-year degree is preferredWhy Clayton?A Berkshire Hathaway Company - an integrity-based organization offering unlimited career growth.Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
