Job Opening: QA/QC Manager – Electrical Construction

Contract: 7-Month Initial Term | Strong Potential for Extension or Direct Hire

About the Role

We are actively seeking a QA/QC Manager with a deep background in electrical construction to lead quality assurance and control efforts on a mission-critical infrastructure project in, MD.

This is a field-based role ideal for someone who thrives on active construction sites, with direct responsibility for maintaining high-quality installation standards and ensuring full compliance with design, code, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on-site QA/QC activities throughout all phases of electrical construction
• Perform daily field inspections and verify compliance with drawings, specs, and electrical codes (NEC, NESC, etc.)
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and field teams
• Maintain QA/QC logs, inspection reports, punch lists, and testing documentation
• Support commissioning, testing, and closeout procedures
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and client reps to align on quality expectations
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 10+ years of QA/QC experience in construction, specifically in electrical systems (HV, MEP, or utility-scale)
• Strong familiarity with high-voltage equipment, MEP integration, substations, and electrical distribution
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with field quality systems, documentation, and commissioning
• Physically able to conduct inspections on an active job site (use of ladders, scaffolds, PPE, etc.)
• Excellent communication and detail-oriented reporting skills
• This is a 100% on-site role in , MD
• Standard workweek: Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
• Contract duration: 7 months, with strong potential for extension or direct hire
