Professional Assistance for Seniors (PAS) is hiring full time staff to work in the greater Rochester, NY area. PAS' mission is to provide guaranteed, personalized, high quality, care that enable our clients to preserve the quality of their lifestyle in the comfort of their own home while providing rewarding careers to our Care Professionals. \

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with ambulation, bathing, personal care, dressing

  • Monitoring changes in clients' mental and physical conditions.

  • Providing medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping.

  • Preparing and serving normal/therapeutic diets.
  • Taking, recording, and monitoring temperature, pulse, respiration, and intake/output.

  • Maintaining and protecting client confidentiality.

  • You have reliable personal transportation and are comfortable driving throughout Monroe County to client homes, including (but not limited to): Gates, Greece, Chili, Brockport, Spencerport, Webster, Penfield, Fairport, Irondequoit, and Hamlin.

  • You have flexibility in your work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications:

  • Personal Care Aide Certification, or Home Health Aide Certification

  • Experience working with the following equipment: walker, cane, crutches, wheelchair, commode, hospital bed, Hoyer Lift, and/or household appliances

  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation

  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects or clients

  • Available to work 20+ hours per week including evenings and weekends. Must work a minimum of 10+ hours per week

  • Covid vaccinated
