Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and elevate the food service program, maintaining high quality standards.
- Manage inventory, food safety, and customer service to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead and support a dedicated team through training and quality control.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including client managers and facility residents.
- Maintain sanitary conditions and safety protocols at all times.
- Complete all tasks punctually while representing HCSG positively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to overall service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
- Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred or as required by state and county law.
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude essential for effective teamwork.
- Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment, along with Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within 60 days.
- Physical ability to lift/carry 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer skills are necessary for maintaining records and reporting.
- Residency within the service area required.
