The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, lifesaving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more Responsibilities The Nursing Operations Supervisor will be responsible for facilitating effective patient access and throughput to include direct admissions, post-operative placement, Emergency Department admissions, observation patients, and all hospital transfers. Coordination and implementation of the Hospital Demand Capacity Plan and overcapacity plan as needed. Serves as clinical consultant/liaison for UFH Leesburg Patient Placement. Provides direct oversight of Sitters and Float Pool staff and associated operations. Manage campus nursing deployments including equipment, large scale education, IT/EMR enhancements, and process changes. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position. Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Qualifications
  • Education
    • Associate's Degree - required
    • High School Diploma/GED-required
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Must have current Florida Registered Nurse License
    • BLS for Healthcare providers
    • Specialty certification(s) preferred
  • Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training
    • Maintains / Exceeds all Specialty educational requirements
  • Experience Required
    • 3-5 years previous experience as a nursing leader in the acute care hospital setting required
    • Patient flow/throughput, clinical logistics/operations, and nurse staffing experience required
    • Critical Care experience
    • Previous Project Management or Nursing Committee project experience preferred
