It is not just what we do - it is who we are.Overview of Responsibilities* Assist with the admission and discharge of patients.* Report patient information and observation to RN promptly and appropriately.* Process physician orders and records information with accuracy, speed, and proficiency. Assist nursing staff in both inpatient and outpatient pre-op, post-op, PACU, and bays as needed.* Assist with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.* Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs, height, and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.* Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to Registered Nurse.* Provide adjunct care by emptying drainage devices, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths; and applying restraints.* Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.* Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures, Standards of Care, and Standards of Practice.* Complete Healthstream requirements as assigned.* Maintain annual competencies and certification.Education/ExperienceEducation Required: High School diplomaEducation Preferred: CNA certification; or evidence of successful completion of Reid Health recognized Nursing Assistant program or the fundamentals course of nursing school.Schedule DetailsDay shift. 40 hours weekly. 7:30a-4:00p.What We OfferUnexpected Perks - Daycare, Doordash, SmartDollar, Daily Pay, therapy dogs, massages, Forbes rated Best Places to Work 2022Stay ConnectedNot quite what you are looking for?
