Nurse Vaccinator - Veterans Staffing : Job Details

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Nurse Vaccinator for our Pharmaceutical partner based out of West Allis, WI. The Mobile Vaccination Nurse plays a pivotal role in our organization's commitment to public health by delivering essential vaccination services. The nurse will be responsible for administering vaccines, providing health education, and fostering a positive healthcare experience for individuals, focusing on reaching underserved populations throughout the Regional area. This position is held Monday-Thursday and working four 10 hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer a variety of vaccines in adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage of vaccines.
• Engage with patients professionally and empathetically, addressing concerns and providing educational resources about the importance of vaccination.
• Cultivate an environment that values cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff and healthcare professionals, to ensure the seamless operation of the mobile vaccine clinic.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid nursing license.
• Proven experience in vaccine administration.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of vaccine storage and handling protocols, maintaining the integrity and efficacy of vaccine.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mobile environment.
• Frequent travel to and from pre-designated vaccination clinics and pharmacies.
• Reliable transportation to and from vaccination clinic sites.

Pay Details:

$33.00 to $34.00 per hour.
