Nurse Surveyor (Health Facilities Surveillance Nurse) - State of Illinois : Job Details

Surveys long term care facilities to determine compliance with state licensure requirements, federal certification mandates, and Department directives, program policies and procedures. Travels and conducts surveys to determine the compliance with state and federal licensure and regulatory requirements. Conducts revisit surveys to evaluate compliance with plans of correction. Observes patient care provided at facilities. Reviews medical records, policies, standard operating procedures, and other facility documents related to licensure and/or regulatory compliance.
