Title: Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Location: Bronx, NY Employment Type: Full Time Compensation Pay Range: $135,000-$150,000 Per Year Description Join a team of growing medical professionals. Provide advanced primary and/or specialty care to patients. Conduct physical exams and record medical histories. Create care plans and administer diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, from minor injuries to chronic illnesses. Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention. Collaborate with medical specialists when necessary. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses. Provide clinical services for conditions like sore throats, colds, and minor infections. Treat minor injuries requiring sutures, splints, or casting. Refer patients to emergency care when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and document medical history. Order and analyze tests to diagnose patient conditions. Administer vaccinations and prescribe treatments. Qualifications Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program: Family At least 3 years of experience in acute care (RN, UC, ICU, critical care) for experienced NPs. Current Nurse Practitioner License in the Northeastern United States. National Board Certification required. Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus. Experience with electronic medical records is a plus. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
