We are currently seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Genesis team at our Inwood location in the Bronx, NY.

As a Nurse Practitioner, under the direction of a physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-quality health care to our patients. Your focus will be on preventative health measures and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient histories and physical examinations, administer immunizations, and provide patient education and counseling.
• Order and perform necessary lab work, including blood draws and tests.
• Prescribe treatment for minor illnesses and coordinate with physicians on chronic conditions and referrals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records and follow up on abnormal test results.
• Participate in patient case conferences, continuing education programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Recognize and address the specific health needs of patients across various age groups, including infants, adolescents, and seniors.
• Adhere to OSHA infection control standards as overseen by the Infection Control Officer.
• Demonstrate a commitment to achieving productivity and quality standards while ensuring patient satisfaction.

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's Degree

Minimum Work-Related Experience: 5-8 years, with a preference for at least 4 years in a large medical practice environment.

Licensure: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State and CPR/BLS certification.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures applicable to nurse practitioners.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality healthcare and preventative education.
• Excellent collaboration skills to maintain high standards of care.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
