NURSE PRACTITIONER - (Part Time) - SCO Family of Services : Job Details

Nurse Practitioner Department: 29 i Medical Location: Queens PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To provide medical services to children/youth in child welfare system. REPORTS TO: Director of Medical/29 i SUPERVISES: Collaborates with Medical and Clinical Teams SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage and ensure full compliance with Article 29 i, Article 31, ACS, DOH, and OCFS policies. Correct and report and report any variances. - Responsible for the supervision of the clinic activities to ensure that all medical visits and encounters are in compliance with the agency procedures. - Monitor and track caseload and oversee cases in the region to meet timeframes of the regulatory agencies. - Assist in triage of patients, perform venipuncture, perform vision and hearing screening, administer immunizations as ordered. - Provide any necessary or mandated nurse screenings and counseling, provide appropriate, related education or literature to children and families as required. - Must demonstrate computer lit...Nurse Practitioner, Part Time, Nurse, Practitioner, Clinical, Medical, Healthcare
