Essential Duties:
- Perform physical exams and preventive health assessments
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests
- Develop, document, and implement individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapies in accordance with regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent program
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in the practicing state
- Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in palliative care or hospital medicine preferred
