Nurse Practitioner - Neurology - Tandym Group : Job Details

A healthcare network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their inpatient/outpatient neurology practice at one of their facilities on Staten Island. About the Opportunity:

• Specialty: Neurology

• Department: Medicine, Division of Neurology
• Rotating between schedule between inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

• Provide inpatient neurology and neurointerventional consultations, including initial assessments, daily follow-ups, and coordination of care
• Do rounds daily with attending Neurologists on hospitalized patients, contributing to care plans, diagnostics, and therapeutic decisions
• Alternate weekly between inpatient responsibilities and outpatient neurology clinic coverage in collaboration with another APP
• Assist in evaluating and triaging stroke alerts

• Master's Degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in New York
• National Board Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult NP
• BLS and ACLS certification

• 2+ years of experience in Neurology, Neurocritical Care, or Hospital-based Medicine
• Prior experience with Stroke Management, Tele-Stroke protocols, or Neurointerventional Care
