The Company

Our client is a successful site network with sites spanning 4 states! They focus trials in GI, Hepatology, and Neurology. Their sites conduct studies spanning Phases I-IV and they are excited to expand their Washington Heights location by hiring a Sub-Investigator!

The Role

The Sub-Investigator (Clinical Research NP) is responsible for oversight and execution of clinical trials that test new medications on the behalf of sponsor/pharmaceutical companies! You will work in a clinic to promote Good Clinical Practice and follow research protocols assigned. This includes things like medical management of patients on trial, administering medications, documentation, tracking and management of adverse events, and overall management of the study. You will work along a lead Physician (Principal Investigator) have a team of skilled coordinators, managers, and assistants as well!

  • Evaluate and screen potential subjects based on study eligibility criteria
  • Perform medical procedures such as blood draws, scans, infusions, medical exams, etc.
  • Perform and review medical procedures in accordance with the clinical study protocol
  • Complete all documentation, paper and electronic
  • Provide oversight and ensures proper delegation of duties to appropriate staff
  • Provide and maintain updated study related documentation
  • Evaluate and report safety reports, protocol noncompliance and any other protocol specific reports.
  • Monitor for patient safety, report ant adverse or severe adverse events.

Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner degree (recent grads encouraged to apply!)
  • Ability to dedicate a full time schedule on site in Washington Heights area of NYC
