As a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center, we serve various regions including Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Nurse Manager to join our team.

Role Overview:

The Nurse Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing care while leading our clinical team. You will work collaboratively with medical staff to uphold our mission of quality healthcare, manage staff training and performance, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient education tailored to individual needs and document accurately in medical records.
• Ensure staff competence in nursing procedures through training and adherence to protocols.
• Lead and support a diverse clinical team including nurses, medical assistants, and Patient Navigators.
• Monitor compliance with EHR documentation requirements and quality standards.
• Review and analyze site quality data to develop strategies for improvement.
• Conduct regular audits of clinical practices and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to site initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction.
• Build a supportive team culture through regular communication and collaboration.
• Provide direct patient care, including assessment and triage, while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Experience in nursing management or a clinical leadership role (3 - 5 years preferred).
• New York State Registered Nurse License and current CPR and Infection Control Certifications.
